This Collar is a mixture of Egyptian & Native American Influence.

I wanted to design a piece that would not follow the traditional way of creating an Egyptain Broad Collar. I used Peyote Stitching to construct the piece. This took a long time to design, & I had to use my background in sewing, and pattern making construction to develop this piece.

Not pictured is the clasp on this piece, which is made entirely of peyote stitching.

Beads are turquoise, carnelian, malichite, onyx, black cut glass crystals, and a variety of colorful glass beads.
