This is a special "dancing" belt that I made for myself.

The black glass oval beads, & the rinestone spacers were beads I inherited from my Grandmother. I combined it with bells, amethyst, carnelian, onyx, and glass seed beads from my own collection.

It was important to make sure it would lay properly when worn. My skills as a sewer, and pattern maker was needed to create this piece. If you look closely, you can see how there are a variety of bead sizes so the piece would lay gracefully.
