Rosanne is a Bead Artist, Teacher and Author with over 30 years of experience.

30 years ago, there were no instructional materials available for Rosanne to learn the many beading techniques she knows today. She is self taught in all methods.

"My mother was my first and best teacher. She is a master craftsperson who is highly skilled in many craft methods. She taught me how to examine, & study any hand crafted piece to understand how it was made. I fell in love with bead work that I would see in various places, such as museums, shops, or simply on the streets of daily life. I needed to learn bead crafting on my own. I lived near New York City, where there are many wonderful Museums. I visited New York City Museums to study antique and ancient jewelry pieces on display, to study how they were created. That is how I learned the art of bead crafting."

Rosanne experimented with a variety of stringing materials to create durable pieces to create high quality family heirlooms that would last many generations.

"Understanding bead supplies, and what methods to create pieces are vital to the beauty and longevity of a piece. An artist invests a great deal of soul, and time into creating a piece. Therefore using the correct materials and methods that will make the piece look beautiful, & last as long as possible is important. That is one of many reasons why I created my Poster Set. From teaching bead classes, I could easily see the vital information I needed to easily communicate to students in a swift manner"

Rosanne brings her experience to all the classes she teaches, from the beginner basics, to the advanced skill levels. She teaches bead tip, crimp, countinuous, knotting, woven, loom, single/double/triple strand methods, wire work, setting cabochons, peyote, & more. Restoration & repair as well as custom design are specialties too.

"With the knowledge of bead supplies & methods, the student, professional, or hobbyist can have more freedom of creativity in designing a piece of jewelry."

Currently she lives in New York State with her creative husband, and artistic daughter with many pets.

"My own household has a similar creativity in it, as I had as a child. There is always something creative going on."

"Sharing my knowledge of beadwork is gratifying
to me. I value helping others discover the artistic
spirit within themselves via creating with beads.
This is why I LOVE to teach bead classes . There
is nothing like seeing the happy face on a student
who has created a beautiful piece of art. "
